Oyo state has expressed readiness to empowered over 12,000 Youths between the age of 18-35 years old in developing website, digital marketing and entrepreneurship to curb youths restiveness within the youth in the state.
This was revealed by the chairman Oyo state Youth Development Agency, Prince Falana Adebowale during the unveiling of the Digital Skill Acquisition for youth in Oyo state coming up on the 2nd of October, emphasized the importance of of equipping youths wirh digital skills to thrive in today’s technology-driven world.
He said that it necessary for the youths to be equipped with necessary skills to remain relevant nothing that as the world is changing daily, modern technology is revolutionizing traditional solutions to real-life issues.
Prince Falana expressed that the agency is collaborating with industry experts and leading players to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and aligned with current market demands and to provide participants with hands-on experience and practical knowledge.
The chairman acknowledged the support of partners and stakeholders in creating a robust framework for digital literacy and innovation.
He added that the ultimate target of the initiative is to build a future where Oyo state youths are leaders and pioneers in the digital economy.
Prince Falana said that by working together with private organization, the state can create an environment where every young person has the opportunity to succeed.
The chairman urged young people to seize the opportunity, embracing the challenges that come with learning new skills.
Prince Falana commended Governor Seyi Makinde’s vision for the youth in the state and giving him the opportunity to serve the state.
