Teacher’s Day: Oyo DG, Rauf Olaniyan Felicitates Teachers, Describes Them As Nation Builders

The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engr Rauf Olaniyan has felicitated Teachers in the state and across the globe on epoch occasion of Teacher’s Day that is being commemorated on October 5 of every year.
Olaniyan in respect to their outstanding performances to groom and nurture pupils and students, described them as notable nation builders.
Oyo DG in his felicitation message described teachers as professional and competent individuals who are passionately committed to grooming and nurturing of learners until they attain their dreams in life.
Olaniyan stressed that teachers are no doubt, significant factors whose impacts are notable and felt on areas that promote the image of a nation and identities of her citizens.
He added that the qualitative education and skills that they are impacting are obviously acknowledged and noted in our daily living.
Olaniyan however called on teachers in the state to use the occasion of the teacher’s day to pray for Gov Seyi Makinde’s led administration and Nigeria at large.
He also enjoined them to prioritise excellence and meritocracy as antidotes to promote academic standard among the students.
Oyo DG wished them well in their current commemoration of the notable day, and prayed that the subsequent ones will be blissfully and prosperously celebrated.
