Excitement as OYRTMA GM, Adeoye Ayoade Inaugurated as Man O’ War Regional Commander

It was a day of pomp and ceremony at Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre Headquarters, Abuja, on Saturday, at the inauguration ceremony of the 3rd National Executive Council Man O’ War, Nigeria.

The event featured the inauguration of the General Manager of Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority, Ayoade Adeoye as the new regional commander for Southwest, Nigeria.

While inaugurating the six regional commanders, the National Commandant, Sani Adamu Depsia, emphasized that Man O’ War is a potential reserve force for all security agencies and vanguard for community policing, security observer as well as intelligent and information reporters. GOAL POACHER NEWS quoted him as saying that the organization has significant roles to play in mitigating the security challenges facing the country.

“The insecurity situation in most part of the country to say the least is alarming. As paramilitary organization that is spread in all part of the country, we are challenged to assist security agencies in order to protect lives and property of citizens.”

The National Commandant however called on governments, corporate organizations and individuals to assist and support Man O War Nigeria in the realization of the outfit vision for a better society.

In his remarks, the newly inaugurated Regional Commandant for Southwest, Commander Ayoade Adeoye expressed gratitude for the opportunity given him to lead the zonal command that comprises of Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo. His words:

“I am excited and humbled at the opportunity given me to lead the zonal command with fantastic teams that have delivered with great capacity on assignments. Our men and women in this zone are always known for executing their duties with pride.

“We would assist the government in the areas of security and campaigns such as enlightening the society in the areas of crime and other vices.

“We will provide roles and responsibilities for members, which would help in the proper running of our team, create more jobs for our members through training. And, for the society, our mission is to change the perception of Man O’ War in the eyes of the society, which would enable us to identify with our calling. We must stay on target with the investment we are making in this agenda to deliver what we have pledged.”
