32fm Chapel Commiserates With Oyo NUJ Secretary Over Dad’s Death
The Nigerian Union of Journalists, 32fm chapel has commiserated with the secretary of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, Oyo state Chapter, Comrade Sola Oladapo, over the loss of his father, Chief Patrick Olubiyi Oladapo.
The chapel of the union, in a statement issue on behalf of the Acting Chairman 32FM Chapel, Comrade Peter Olasupo and made to the newsmen by the chapel secretary, Comrade Oluwatoyin Fasalajo, described death as inevitable for all human beings, irrespective of the number of years one lived on earth.
According to the statement, Chief Oladapo’s sojourn on earth was a testimony of community leadership, devotion to worship, love for neighbors and strong advocacy for peaceful co-existence.
“We commiserate and console with you dear Secretary of our Great Union, NUJ, in the state, Comrade Sola Oladapo, over the loss of your father, Chief Patrick Olubiyi Oladapo.
“We received the news with deep regret but we are consoled by the fact that he lived a life of dedicated service to his community.
“We share in your grief sorrow and pains at this period and we pray that God will grant you the fortitude to bear the loss even as we pray for the repose of the soul of the departed to rest in peace .
”On behalf of the entire members of NUJ 32fm Chapel, we mourn with you on the passing of your beloved father, Chief Patrick Olubiyi Oladapo.
32fm chapel prayed that God will comfort Comrade Sola Oladapo and his family and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The union urged the family, friends and associates of the devout Christian to find solace in the good works of their departed father and grandfather, and emulate his kind ways.
