Eid-el-Fitri: Makinde Urges Vigilance Among Residents, Congratulates Muslims on Successful Ramadan

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has congratulated Muslims in Oyo State and across Nigeria on the successful completion of the 2026 Ramadan.

This was in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary/ Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Media, Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju marking the end of the holy month, the governor commended Muslim faithful for their sacrifice, perseverance, and dedication throughout the 30-day fasting period.

He urged adherents of Islam to use the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to seek divine guidance and offer prayers for the continued progress and stability of Oyo State and the nation at large.

Governor Makinde also called on residents to remain vigilant during the festive period, advising them to be mindful of their surroundings and report any suspicious movements or activities to the appropriate security agencies.
