Aleshinloye Monitors NPF Recruitment, Advocates Fair Representation

…As Applicants urged to remain disciplined as screening holds in Oyo State

The Federal Character Commissioner representing Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, has monitored the ongoing recruitment exercise of the Nigeria Police Force in the state.

This was stated through a press release by the Media Unit of Federal Character Commissioner, Oyo State, Adegoke Oladiipo Oyeyemi today to the Journalist.

During the monitoring exercise, Aleshinloye reiterated the mandate of the Federal Character Commission, which is to ensure fairness, equity, and balanced representation of all states, local governments, wards, and ethnic groups in federal institutions and recruitment processes across the country.

He encouraged applicants from Oyo State to conduct themselves responsibly throughout the exercise and remain good ambassadors of the state if eventually selected into the Nigeria Police Force.

According to him, dedication, discipline, and integrity in service could lead them to attain the highest ranks in the police force.

Aleshinloye also wished all the applicants success in the recruitment process and urged them to remain disciplined, law-abiding, and committed to serving the nation with integrity.

The commissioner further congratulated the Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Femi Haruna, on his well-deserved promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police.

Speaking during the exercise, the Team Leader of the recruitment exercise in Oyo State, Dr. Okedeji, welcomed Aleshinloye and his team.

He explained that the recruitment process is transparent and strictly based on merit, physical fitness, and other required standards set by the Nigeria Police Force.

Okedeji urged applicants to remain orderly and adhere to all guidelines provided by officials handling the exercise.

He further assured that the exercise was being conducted in a fair and credible manner, encouraging applicants to give their best while maintaining discipline throughout the screening process.

Members of the commissioner’s entourage included the State Director of the Federal Character Commission, Mr. Babanumi Muyiwa, Deputy Director, Mr. Fehintola, among others.
