Olagunju Commends Makinde, INEC, Security Agents Over Hitch-Free Ibadan North Federal Constituency Bye-Election
Former Member of Oyo state House of Assembly Hon Kolade Olagunju has commended Oyo state Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Security Agents across the state over peaceful conduct of the Ibadan North Federal Constituency By-Election
Hon Olagunju gave the commendation while reacting to the just concluded By-Election in Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
According to him,the peaceful conduct of the exercise was a clear demonstration of the readiness of security agents and INEC to conduct free,fair and credible poll in 2027 which Nigerians will all proud of.
He noted that if the voting exercise is transparent and adequate security is provided for electorates,it will added more value to electoral processes in Nigeria and further strengthening Nigeria nascent democracy.
The former lawmaker equally commended Governor Makinde for giving good governance to the people through Provision of basic and infrastructural amenities that necessitated Victory recorded by Hon Folajimi Oyekunle in the Ibadan North By-Election poll.
Hon Kolade Olagunju urged the Honourable Member -Elect to act very fast within shortest possible time by facilitating meaningful development to his Constituency through adequate representation at the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
While acknowledging the role of notable people who served as Supervisors for the Peoples Democratic Party,Hon Olagunju thanked the good people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency for voting PDP candidate Hon Folajimi Oyekunle to represent them in House of representatives Abuja.
“No doubt the just concluded Ibadan North Federal Constituency By-Election is a result of team work from, PDP members to Stakeholders and the constituents for their strong beliefs in PDP government in oyo state.The only way to reciprocate the gesture is true good governance and adequate representation.” Olagunju said.
Hon Olagunju wished Hon Oyekunle a successful and remarkable tenure in the House of representatives.
