The highly entertaining match ended 3–2 in favour of Governor Makinde’s team after a keenly contested encounter that thrilled spectators at the venue.

The novelty match was played at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan, and drew a large crowd of sports lovers and dignitaries.
Governor Makinde was the standout performer of the game, recording a brace and assisting the winning goal to cap a memorable outing for his side.
