Fresh FM Nigeria Congratulates Akeem Abas on Election as Oyo NUJ Chairman

…As Fresh FM hails his victory as well-deserved, urges inclusive leadership.

The Board, Management and Staff of Fresh FM Nigeria have congratulated Comrade Akeem Abas on his emergence as the newly elected Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council.

In a goodwill message issued and signed by the Group of Head of Corporate Affairs Fresh FM Nigeria and Yinka Ayefele Limited, Samson Akindele today, the media organization described Abas’ victory at the triennial congress as a “fitting crowning” of a professional journey defined by vision, diligence, creativity and courage in journalism and union activism.

Fresh FM Nigeria stated that Abas’ success was well-deserved, noting that his years of consistent effort had culminated in a “sweet and hard-earned victory.”

The organisation also extended its congratulations to all other winners in the election, wishing them a productive and fulfilling tenure.

While expressing hope for an inclusive and united NUJ administration in Oyo State, Fresh FM urged the new leadership to run a government that accommodates all practising journalists, regardless of their affiliations during the electioneering period.

The station further encouraged Abas and his team to uphold all campaign promises and work for the progress of the union.
