‘We Must Stand as One’- Folarin Calls for Total Unity in Oyo APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has intensified efforts to strengthen its internal structures and foster greater unity ahead of the 2027 general elections. This resolve was reaffirmed yesterday by the Oyo State Ambassador for Renewed Hope, Senator Teslim Folarin, during the party’s Enlarged Stakeholders’ Meeting held in Ibadan.
Addressing party leaders, stakeholders, and mobilisers, Senator Folarin declared that the Oyo APC is committed to repositioning itself for a stronger performance in the next electoral cycle. He revealed that the party is targeting at least a 35% increase in votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, compared to its 2023 outing.
Folarin stressed that unity remains the party’s most crucial asset, noting that no political strategy can thrive in an atmosphere of disunity. He reaffirmed the principle of “One APC, One Tinubu Project,” urging all stakeholders to align with the Renewed Hope agenda, which prioritises harmony, cooperation, and coordinated mobilisation.
According to him, Oyo State is poised to serve as a model for strategic political organisation nationwide. He emphasized the need to revitalise the party’s structures across all levels, from the State Executive Committee down to the 33 Local Government Areas, 351 Wards, and every polling unit.
“Our grassroots must be vibrant and connected to the people,” Folarin said. “Every ward and every community must feel the presence and impact of the APC if we are to consolidate our gains and secure a more decisive victory for President Tinubu in 2027.”
He further expressed his readiness to work with party leaders and stakeholders to ensure Oyo State becomes a national example of inclusive and disciplined political mobilisation under the Renewed Hope agenda.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of strengthening party organs, enhancing internal cohesion, and activating voter engagement structures across the state ahead of the election cycle.
