Queen Rashidat Ladoja, Others Mark One-Year Remembrance of Late Mother, Alhaja Oluwole

It is exactly one year that Almighty Allah called home a loving mother and community leader, Alhaja Wosilat Aduke Oluwole in Ibadan and buried in her home, Abeokuta, Ogun State

In remembrance of the day, Abeokuta will be agog and a sight to behold on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, as Children, family members, associates and well-wishers are all expected to grace the one-year Remembrance of the precious mother who passed away on 22nd November, 2024 at the age of 89

The remembrance ceremony which will be heralded with a special prayer session by the Islamic clerics becomes necessary according to Islamic injunction as a step to further seek Allah’s forgiveness for the deceased and grant her Aljanah Firdaus.

Meanwhile, one of her Children who is the Wife of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Queen Rashidat Olayinka Ladoja described her mother as a wonderful, Godly, and caring personality who cared so much about her family and anybody she came in contact with while on earth, hence the need to always remember her in prayers.

In the same vein, another daughter of the deceased, Mrs Nike Adigun also described her mother as a mother in in need and indeed, a kind-hearted and mother for all who was always there for everybody at every point of their needs.

Queen Ladoja, however, appreciated her darling husband, supporter and lover of all, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja for the support at all times, praying for his long life and prosperity with good health and sound mind on the throne of his forebearers.

She enjoined mothers to emulate her late mother’s virtue while she prayed to Almighty Allah to grant her aljanah fridaus, and continue upholding the family she left before.
