Prince Ewenla Congratulates His Imperial Majesty Oba Rashidi Ladoja on Installation as Olubadan

…As he commends the new monarch’s legacy, prays for prosperity and unity in Ibadanland.

A prominent Yoruba titleholder, Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, has extended warm congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Arusa I, on his recent ascension as the Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a statement released on Thursday, Prince Ewenla, who holds the title of Akinjagunla Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, described the monarch’s installation as a “moment of profound significance” not only for Ibadanland and Oyo State, but for the entire Yoruba race.

“The Olubadan stool embodies centuries of tradition, dignity, and unity,” Prince Ewenla said,
adding that Oba Ladoja’s emergence was “a divine appointment” that speaks to his lifetime of dedication to peace, progress, and the welfare of the people.

Expressing optimism about the new Olubadan’s reign, the prince noted that Ibadanland stands to witness “renewed growth, cultural renaissance, and harmonious coexistence” under the monarch’s leadership.

He further prayed for the king’s reign to be blessed with good health, wisdom, courage, and longevity.

“May your leadership bring prosperity to Ibadanland, foster unity among Yoruba sons and daughters, both at home and in the diaspora, and uphold the dignity of our cherished customs and traditions,” he said.

Prince Ewenla extended his felicitations on behalf of his family, associates, and well-wishers.

Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Arusa I was recently installed as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, a traditional title regarded as one of the most respected in Yorubaland.
