Kidnapping Crisis: APC Tinubu Has Failed Nigerians, PDP Remains the Only Solution | Dr. Adedipe Dauda Ewenla
The latest report by SBM Intelligence, which revealed that between July 2024 and June 2025 kidnappers across Nigeria demanded over ₦48 billion in ransom, with ₦2.56 billion paid and 4,722 innocent Nigerians abducted, is a clear indictment of the failure of the APC-led government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This tragic reality highlights one undeniable fact: the APC government has completely failed in its primary responsibility of safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians. Instead of providing solutions, insecurity has worsened under Tinubu’s leadership, leaving citizens at the mercy of bandits, terrorists, and kidnappers.
Every government exists first and foremost to protect its people. But what we are witnessing today is an alarming collapse of national security. Families live in fear, children cannot attend school safely, farmers are driven from their lands, businesses are crippled, and communities are devastated. The APC Tinubu administration has shown neither the capacity nor the political will to rescue this country from its deepening insecurity.
It is now evident that Tinubu must not be allowed to return to Aso Rock in 2027. His tenure has brought nothing but heightened insecurity, economic hardship, and broken promises. Nigerians deserve better than excuses, propaganda, and negligence.
Only the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has demonstrated the experience, vision, and structure to rebuild Nigeria and restore hope. PDP remains the true party of progress, with proven capacity to secure the nation, revive the economy, and unite our people.
We call on Nigerians across all regions to rise in defense of our democracy and our future. The time has come to reject APC’s incompetence and failed leadership. Together, we must vote out APC Tinubu in 2027 and embrace the PDP as the only credible alternative for Nigeria’s security, stability, and prosperity.
