Ewenla Blasts APC and Tinubu, Warns Against 2027 Return

…Says PDP Remains Nigeria’s Only Hope for Revival

Amb. Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, PDP Southwest Ex-Officio, has launched a scathing criticism of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), insisting that the ruling party has plunged Nigeria into unprecedented hardship and must not be allowed a second term in 2027.

Reacting to the recent suspension of work visas for foreign commercial truck drivers by the United States, Ewenla said the situation reflects the tragedy of Nigerians desperately seeking employment abroad, a trend he blamed on the misrule of APC governments since 2015.

The evil Tinubu and APC have brought to Nigeria is too much. If they had managed what PDP’s Goodluck Ebele Jonathan handed over, people would not even want to leave Nigeria to work abroad. During the PDP era, we never heard of ‘Japa.’ It was APC—first Buhari, now Tinubu that created this suffering,” Adedipe Dauda Ewenla declared.

He argued that the desperation to leave Nigeria, even for menial work overseas, highlights the collapse of domestic opportunities caused by APC policies. “What is so special in the United States if not that bad governance here has made life unbearable? Tinubu has become the worst president Nigeria has ever had in our history,” he stressed.

On the 2023 general elections, Ewenla directly accused INEC of rigging the polls in Tinubu’s favour. “Institutions that should uphold the will of the people failed. Nigeria has been paying the price ever since. Those still campaigning for APC and Tinubu must face reality,” he said.

Looking ahead to 2027, the PDP chieftain warned Nigerians against returning APC to power. “Tinubu must not come back to Aso Rock in 2027. He has brought too many evil policies. Only PDP has the solution to Nigeria’s problems, and PDP will present a better candidate in the next general elections,” Ewenla affirmed.

He concluded by calling on Nigerians to unite for change: “This is a call to conscience. Nigeria deserves competent leadership, respect for the people’s will, and policies that allow citizens to thrive at home, not flee abroad.”
