Olaoluwa Commiserates APC National Chairman Over Mother’s Death
The Atayese of Fiditi State and President, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation (POF) has commiserated with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, over the passing of his beloved mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda, who died at the age of 83 after a brief illness.
Olaoluwa in a release on Tuesday through his media office encouraged Yilwatda to find solace in the fact that her late mother lived a godly life worthy of emulation.
He described the late Mama Lydia as a woman of courage, and great quality whose life was defined by service to God and humanity.
The Oyo state guber hopeful said the deceased was a matriarch of uncommon strength, love, and sacrifice, and a source of inspiration to all who encountered her.
He stressed that Mama remarkable life was marked by compassion, wisdom, tolerance, and kindness she imparted to her children and extended family.
He added that Mama’s transition has created void, especially at a time when her counsel and guidance would have been most needed. He, however, urged the immediate and extended family to find comfort in the enduring legacy of her exemplary life and in the unfailing promises of God.
As a devout Christian, she was a mentor and source of inspiration to many, particularly women.
“Mama Yilwatda’s death was not just a shock to the entire Yilwatda family but also to the APC National Chairman in particular, who will undoubtedly miss Mama’s counsel and prayers at this stage of his political career.
