Oyo Govt Awards Full Scholarship to 8 Hospital Secretaries

…As Dr. Fagbemi Commends Gov. Makinde for Equipping Hospitals in the state

The Oyo state government and Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board through Lead City University got full scholarship for 8 hospital Secretary to obtaiin Masters and Postgraduate programme in Hospital Administration for effective and efficient service delivery in all various facilities within the state.

This was made known by the chairman of the OYSHMB,Dr. Akin Fagbemi during a meeting with all the hospital secretary held at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Health, Secretariat,Ibadan.

The chairman appreciated his excelllency Engr. Oluseyi Makinde FNSE for his unwavering support to the health family citing example of some hospital equipments donated to Ring Road State Hospital(RRSH) for effective delivery to the good people of Oyo state.

He stated further that Hospital Secretary’s are the engine room of various facilities and therefore they must be part of decision making in each of the hospitals.

Dr. Fagbemi also charged them to be good ambassadors of the state,be their brothers keeper and always ready to work as a team to attain greater success in the course of study.

He thanked the management of Lead City University for been part of success story with Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board(OYSHMB) in the areas of partnership and staff development.

In her remarks, The Permanent Secretary of the board,Dr. Anifat Ibraheem also congratulated 8 Hospital Secretary’s who are beneficiary of the scholarship and urged them to always keep the flag of the state high at all time. KO

Present at the meeting were the chairman of the board,Dr. Akin Fagbemi, the Permanent Secretary Dr. Anifat Ibraheem,the Director of Hospital Administration,Mr. Oladipo Olatunde and all the hospital administrators from various facilities in the state.
