…As Dr. Osinowo Praises Gov. Makinde for Appointing Dr. Fagbemi, a NIFST Fellow, as OYSHMB Chairman

The National President of the Nigerian Institute of Food, Science and Technology (NIFST), Dr. Bola Osinowo has paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Akin Fagbemi, Chairman of the Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board (OYSHMB), to appreciate his support for the institute and his efforts in the health sector since his inception as the chairman of the board.

Dr. Osinowo who commended Governor Engr. Oluseyi Makinde for appointing Dr. Fagbemi, a fellow of NIFST, as OYSHMB Chairman.

He highlighted the institute’s mission, which reflects its rich human resources, and its status as the only registered non-profit-making body representing academia, industry, government, and research institution in Nigeria.

The Institutions Founded in 1976, NIFST has membership spread across ten chapters within Nigeria and beyond.

In his remarks, The Chairman Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi appreciated Dr. Osinowo for the visit and promised more support and synergy for the institute.

He encouraged NIFST to conduct more research, findings, and innovations that can shape the future of food, science, and technology in Nigeria.

This aligns with his efforts to improve the healthcare sector in Oyo State.
