Arapaja Hosts League of Imams and Alfa Felele/ Olorunsogo, JANATA, PDP Chieftains and Members to Iftar

In the spirit of the Ramadan, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja today hosted the leadership and members of the party across the Ibadan South East and Ibadan North East local government area to Iftar (breaking of Ramadan fast) at his residence located at Felele, Ibadan.

The gathering which attracted the league of Imams and Alfas from Felele and party’s bigwigs across the said local governments, provided a platform for reflection, unity, and renewed commitment to the party’s collective aspirations.

The dignitaries include the Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Prof. Daud Sangodoyin, Mr Babatunde Tijani (Double T), Alhaja Modinat Abosede Adedibu, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, Hon Adewusi Arole, Hon. Alawode Emmanuel Oluwole – Chairman Ibadan South East local government, Hon. Yinka Omikunle and Modiu Opeyemi Akande, Hon. Sunday Babatunde, Alhaji Tiamiyu Abidikugu, Engr. Sulaiman Adesina (World Best), serving councillors in Ibadan South East and Ibadan North East local government and others.

Speaking at the Iftar, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja emphasized the significance of the Ramadan season in fostering peace, cooperation, and unity among the people.

Arapaja used the occasion to commend the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his unwavering commitment in delivering dividends of democracy to the people in the state.

At the iftar, special prayers were offered for Engr. Seyi Makinde led administration and all members of his cabinet, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and his family as well as for peace, progress, and the continued success of the PDP in Oyo State and Nigeria.
