…As Ogundoyin Urged New Executive to Uphold Igbo Values, Promote Collaboration

The new President of Ohaneze Ndi-Gbo in Oyo State, Hon. Okechukwu Nwabunike, has promised to work closely with all Igbo individuals in the state ensure harmony among the Igbo community, indigenes, and other ethnic groups to promote peaceful coexistence.

This promise was made during the inauguration of the new executive committee of Ohaneze Ndi-Gbo Worldwide in Oyo State.

Hon. Nwabunike requested more platforms from the state government to enhance collaboration between the Igbo community and the government inorder to improve the livelihood of Igbo individuals in the state.

He also appealed to all Igbo individuals to put aside their differences, embracing peace and love to ensure the group’s progress in the state.

In his remarks, Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Adebo Ogundoyin, advised the newly inaugurated Ohaneze Ndi-Gbo executive to uphold Igbo values such as truth, justice, fairness, and transparency in order to take the Igbo community to the promise land.

He pledged his unwavering support and government loyalty to the present administration of OHANEZE NDI-GBO in the state inorder to deliver the dividends of democracy to Igbo extraction in the state.

Ogundoyin emphasized the importance of collaboration between the state government and Igbo community for development and progress in Oyo State.

Earlier in his welcome address, One of the leaders of the Igbo community in Oyo State, Chief Emeka Okoli, urged all Igbo individuals to unite and avoid division noting that unity is essential for progress.

The Chief Executive Officer of CHISCO Transport Company Chief Chidi Anyaegbu, advised Ohaneze Ndi-Gbo Worldwide to remain peaceful and focused on the Igbo ethnic and Nigerian agendas.

He stressed that the Igbo ethnic group cannot progress without the involvement of other ethnic groups.

The newly sworn-in Ohaneze Ndi-Gbo executive are pioneer leader of all Igbo extraction Oyo State and are expected to lead and become a rallying point for the Igbo community in the state.
