Oloko Of Okoland Pledges Support for OYSHMB As He Commends The Board’s Proactive Steps in Healthcare Delivery

The Paramount Ruler of Okoland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Olagoke Akinola (Oyeyode III) has paid a courtesy visit to the management of the Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board (OYSHMB), led by Chairman Dr. Akin Fagbemi.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss ways to increase support for the General Hospital, Oko, from the community.
Oba Solomon Akinola appreciated His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, FNSE, for his efforts in providing qualitative, accessible, and affordable healthcare services to the people of Oyo State through the sustainable healthcare delivery program tagged “Omi-Tuntun 2.0.”

The Paramount Ruler also commended the management of the OYSHMB, under the leadership of Dr. Akin Fagbemi, for their proactive steps since his appointment as chairman.
In his remarks, Dr. Akin Fagbemi praised the traditional ruler for his efforts in providing qualitative and affordable healthcare to the people of his immediate constituency, citing the example of providing hospital equipment to the community hospital.
Dr. Fagbemi appealed to the Paramount Ruler for more support for all government facilities within his jurisdiction, especially the General Hospital, Oko, for the people of the town to benefit more from the dividend of democracy promised by His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Makinde during his election campaign.
The Permanent Secretary of the board, Dr. Anifat Ibraheem, also commended the traditional ruler for always rising to the occasion when needed.
