PDP NWC Moves to Resolve Internal Crisis, Preaches Unity

… As Ambassador Arapaja Leads NWC-PDP on Condolence Visit to Gov. Makinde

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has expressed assurance that rancour that erupted yesterday at the party’s national secretariat will soon be resolved.

National Deputy Chairman, PDP, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, gave the assurance while reacting to the rancour and the fistfight that happened yesterday at the party National Secretariat, Abuja and also he led NWC-PDP on condolences visit to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde over the death of his brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.

Ambassador Arapaja who described the rancour as internal crisis, bound to occur in a big political party as PDP, assured party members that the rancour will be settled for the benefit and betterment of Nigerians ahead next election.

In his condolence message, Ambassador Arapaja said Engineer Sunday Makinde lived a fulfilled life which could be seen in Governor Makinde.

The former deputy governor of Oyo State, prayed God to grant the deceased eternal life and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The new secretary of the party, Udeh Okoye, were among the NWC that came to commiserate Governor Makinde.
