The Oyo State Hospital Management Board has extend its deepest condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde on the passing of his elder brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde.
The condolence message was written signed by the Chairman of the board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi to commiserate with the governor over the demise of his elderly brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde who lost his life into the cold hands of death at 3:20am today.
The condolence message read: “This news has sent shockwaves throughout the state, and we join the governor’s family and friends in mourning this immense loss.
“Engr. Sunday Makinde was more than just a sibling to the governor; he was a pillar of strength, a guiding light, and a source of inspiration. His sudden demise at the age of 65 has left a void that can never be filled.
“As the governor grapples with this unbearable loss, we pray that he finds the strength and courage to carry on. May the fond memories of his brother’s life, legacy, and accomplishments be a source of comfort during this difficult time.
“The Oyo State Hospital Management Board acknowledges the significant contributions Engr. Sunday Makinde made to the state’s development, particularly in the areas of engineering and infrastructure. His expertise and experience will be deeply missed.
