OYRTMA, FRSC Partners in Road Safety As Collaboration Aims to Enhance Information Sharing,Training, Enforcement Against Route Violations

… As collaboration promises to foster a safer, more free-flowing traffic environment in the state

As part of his efforts to strengthen the ties between The Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA) and The Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) the executive Chairman OYRTMA, Major Adesagba Adekoya rtd has a paid a courtesy visit to the sector commander of FRSC, Rosemary Alor to energize the bond between the two agencies.

The visit which was in line to further fortify the collaboration of Oyo State Road Traffic Management with other sister Agencies for smooth and free motorable in the state.

In his address, The executive chairman Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority, Major Adesagba Adekoya rtd explained that it’s imperative that both agencies come together and collaborate on some prominent issues such as synergy on information gatherings and sharing, training and practical application procedures, operations and enforcement against route violations (driving against traffic), and building a solid relationship that will foster an achievement for a common goal and mission.

In her reaction, The Oyo State Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corp, Rosemary Alor said that OYRTMA and FRSC have been inseparable twins that cannot be separated promised that the relationship will continue to be solidified.

Mrs Alor assured the cooperation of the FRSC with OYRTMA and requested for more area of information to assist OYRTMA to achieve it mandate.

The Sector Commander further directed the deputy Corp Commander in-charge of operation, DCC Olugbesan to arrange with OYRTMA.

Mrs Alor later condole with OYRTMA over the loss an OYRTMA officer who loss his life while on duty last year.
