The newly appointed Honourable Minister of Youth, Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, has pledged to prioritize the well-being and development of Nigerian youths.

Speaking from his office, Olawande expressed his commitment to serving the nation’s youths with dedication and diligence.

He emphasized the importance of youths adhering to the law and refraining from harmful activities while encouraging them to actively participate in addressing the challenges they face.

Olawande’s vision includes enhancing existing initiatives and introducing new policies to tackle youth unemployment, a pervasive issue in Nigeria.

He also promised to implement comprehensive policies addressing the needs of the youth and develop innovative strategies to create substantial job opportunities.

Before his appointment as the Minister of Youth Development, Olawande served as the Minister of State for Youth Development.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu officially announced his new role on October 23, 2024, following the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja.

As Minister, Olawande aims to empower youths for sustainable socio-economic development.

His commitment to youth development is rooted in his background as an entrepreneur and politician.
