Prince Adebayo Olabiyi Donated N90M Medical Equipment to Educate General Hospital As Indigenes Calls For Hospital Upgrade to State Hospital Status

As part of paying back what the society has given to him in the past, one of the original sons of the soil in Eruwa, Prince Adebayo Olabiyi, has donated some equipment worth more than 90 million naira to the General Hospital, Eruwa.
The event took place at the Eruwa Youth Movement Hall in Ibarapa East Local Government area of Oyo state.
In his address, Prince Adeola Kunle, the President of Eruwa Youth Movement, said the donor of the equipment did it to improve the community and for the well-being of the indigenes of the community.
He therefore pleaded for upgrading of the hospital into State Hospital status since Ibarapa zone did not have any State hospital standard within the zone.
The Odofin of Eruwa, who also serves as the acting Eleruwa of Eruwa, Chief S.O Olatunji, commended the efforts of Engr Oluseyi Makinde in bringing the dividend of democracy to the less privileged in the community under the Sustainable health care delivery to the people of Ibarapa and Oyo state in general.
The chairman of Ibarapa East Local Government area, Hon. Kazeem Arogundade, lauded the contribution of the donor to his community and therefore called on other sons of the soil to emulate Prince Olabiyi by giving back to the community that gave birth to them.
In his remark, the chairman of Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Dr Akin Fagbemi, said the action of Prince Olabiyi will go a long way in contributing to the Sustainable health care delivery under Omi-Tuntun 2.0 agenda of Engr Oluseyi Makinde and to the good people of Eruwa and Oyo state in particular.
The representative of the donor, who is also his brother, Prince Abiodun Olabiyi, appreciated Engr Oluseyi Makinde for his contribution to the development of the state and Ibarapa zone in particular, especially in the area of delivering good and qualitative health care services to the people.

The event was well attended by the management team of OYSHMB led by the chairman, Dr Akin Fagbemi, the Permanent Secretary in the board, Dr Anifat Ibraheem, the Director of Admin and Supplies, Mr Muyiwa Olagoke, and the Director of Medical Services Dr Femi Adesanya.
