OYRTMA Strengthens Presence in Oyo With Refurbished Headquarters As The Agency Priotizes Efficiency, Professionalism in Road Safety

The Executive Chairman Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA), Major Adekoya Adesagba rtd, has commissioned the edifice of refurbished, renovated and proposed operational zonal headquarters building for the agency in Oyo town.

The event, held at Oyo town today and attended by various federal government security agencies and Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), highlighted the importance of the building in delivering services to the people of the state, symbolizing officers’ commitment to excellence in road safety, traffic management, and public service.

Major Adesagba noted that the renovation of the operational headquarters aimed to create a space embodying professionalism and efficiency, urging other zonal commanders to emulate the acting zonal commander’s hard work and commitment to service.

He extended gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for his visionary leadership and opportunity to serve.

In his remark, The General Manager Oyo Road Traffic Management Authority, Commander Ayoade Adekola urged motorists to obey traffic rules and support the Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration in order to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

In her address, The unit commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Oyo, Commander Saudat Balogun assured cooperation between FRSC and OYRTMA for road safety.

In his remark, The Divisional Police Officer, Dubar Police Station, Chief Superintendent of Police Akinwande Haruna reiterated the Nigerian Police’s support for ensuring sanity on the roads.

Earlier in his welcome address, the acting Commander, Oyo zone, Commander Olonade Oluyinka commended the Executive Chairman for trusting him with the project and completing the building successfully.

He promised to continue in the agency commitment in making the safer from accident and riad crashes.
