Makinde’s Transformative Agenda A Benchmark for Development – CP Odukoya

Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makindes aide, Executive Assstant on Security, CP Sunday Odukoya has described the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration as a model with an impeccable template to achieve a modern Oyo State.

CP Odukoya made the submission after receiving an Award of Excellence from the management of Oodua News Newspaper , Ibadan, saying that the governor has displayed impeccable and quality leadership through his transformative agenda.

According to him, the administration of governor Makinde since 2019 has recorded giant strides in all sectors of the state, adding that his quality leadership has become a model pattern for other states in the country.

“Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration has raised the bar in infrastructural development, security, education, agriculture, health , youth development and many others over the years, hence, I urge the people to cooperate and support his administration to enable him consolidate on his developmental programmes in the state.

“Upon assuming office in in 2019, Governor Makinde wasted no time in rolling out his developmental agenda for Oyo State. One of his primary focusses was infrastructure development, recognizing that modern roads, bridges, and utilities are the lifeblood of economic growth.

” Under his leadership, Oyo has witnessed a surge in infrastructural projects, with new roads connecting rural communities among others.

“His administration has made significant investments in education and healthcare, saying schools were renovated and equipped with modern facilities, while healthcare centers were upgraded to provide quality care to all residents, especially those in underserved areas.

“In addition to physical infrastructure, Governor Makinde prioritized economic development, recognizing the importance of creating opportunities for the people of Oyo state.

“He implemented policies to attract investment, support small businesses, and empower entrepreneurs. Through strategic partnerships with the private sector and initiatives to promote agriculture and tourism, he sought to diversify the state’s economy and create jobs for its youth.”, he said

CP Odukoya appreciated the management of Oodua News Newspaper for the award, just as he admonished the organization to observe ethics of the profession when reporting and publishing

Speaking at the occasion, the editor of Oodua News Newspaper, Comrade Richard Thomas commended CP Odukoya for his warm response and reception for the management of the newspaper.

He said the award was in recognition ot his unwavering support, high committment and immense contributions to the governor Seyi Makinde-led administration since 2019.
