Ramadan : Engr. Sanusi Ridwan Distributes Food Items to Muslim Faithful, Launches Support Foundation

An Ibadan based Computer Engineer, Sanusi Ridwan popularly called Strikah has distributed food items to teeming fasting muslims in Ibadan South East Local Government.

The event held at the popular Mapo Hall, Ibadan also featured the official launch of Engr. Strikah Foundation – a Non Governmental organisation which is providing support and assistance to individuals, communities and groups.

The Chairman at the occasion who is the Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Culture and Tourism, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige described Engr. Sanusi Ridwan (Strikah) as one of the illustrious sons of Ibadan South East Local Government.

Hon Ige said the young Engineer who hails from Ilupeju in Oke Odo area of Ibadan has a large heart and he is committed to giving back to the society.

” I am so happy to be part of this historic occasion. I am also pleased to present to you one of our young, focused and benevolent Engineer whose passion is to give support to the people and uplift the downtrodden in the society. Since I knew him, he has continued to amaze me with his selflessness, unassuming personality and above all his people driven and support oriented programs.” Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige said

Distributing the food items to hundreds of beneficiaries drawn from all the wards in Ibadan South East and North East Local Government areas, Engr. Sanusi Ridwan Strikah said he conceived the idea of the support Foundation few years ago and decided to formally launch it now inorder to broaden its activities and to reach out to as many people as possible.

According to him, the formal launch of Engr. Strikah Foundation coincided with the 2024 Ramadan hence the decision to select fasting muslims as major beneficiaries.

He assured that more less privileged individuals would be captured in subsequent support and empowerment programs of the foundation.

” Today is one of the happiest moments of my life. To God be the glory for the successful launch of Engr. Strikah Foundation. For me it is a dream come true. I have been lending support and giving my widow’s mite to individuals and associations in the last few years.

” Today’s event is meant to enlarge the scope of the Foundation, present its before the general public and to come up with more charitable activities which will improve the economic conditions of our people. I will like to sincerely appreciate people of like minds who have keyed into the lofty ideas of the Foundation and are ready to work with us to enhance the socioeconomic conditions of our people. This is our first public outing. We have more support programs lined up for the people. I can assure everyone that it is going to be a continuous exercise.” Engr Sanusi Ridwan Strikah said

Earlier in his lecture on the topic “Islamic Perspective on the present situation of the country”, the Chief Imam Fresh fm Nigeria, Sheikh Abdul Kareem Olalekan Abdullah (Alfa Ti o ja) said the condition of the nation was a test from Allah hence he called on all Nigerians to return to Him in total repentance, and engage more in acts of charity especially for the needy ones

Alfa Ti o ja who pointed out that corruption was widespread in Nigeria, added that every Nigerian contributed to the socioeconomic woes being experienced in the country

Some of the beneficiaries of the food items said the package could not have come at a better time.

They appreciated Engr. Sanusi Ridwan Strikah for the initiative, and prayed to Allah to bless him more.
