COAS Urges Personnel to Uphold Age-Long Tradition of Army
The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja has charged Nigerian Army to maintain discipline and ensured that the traditions, customs and ethics of the Nigerian Army are continously upheld.
The Chief of Army Staff who was represented by the commander infantry corp, Major General Olufemi Oluyede made the charge during the second Regimental Sergeant Majors convention 2023, held at headquarters of 2 division Nigerian Army, Odogbo Barack, Ibadan.
Lieutenant Lagbaja implored the Nigerian Army to leverage their extant Army administrative policies instruments to improve their unit administration in their respective domains.
He further said that the convention will help to secure valuable inputs from regimental sergeant majors in creating solutions to solve administrative challenges.
Earlier in his address, the Chief of Administration Nigerian Army, Major General Jimmy Akpor charged the participants to leverage on Nigerian Army administrative policies to further improve unit administration in their respective domains.
He further said that it is imperative for the regimented Nigerian Army to have a critical roles to play to in ensuring that the least soldiers of the Nigerian Army understand and appreciate the content of the Nigerian Army.
