Makinde’s Ally, Hon Rita Orji Bags Catholic Prestigious Award

An ally of Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Barrister Rita Orji has been conferred with the Special Mother Award by the Catholic Women Organization.

The award was conveyed in a letter signed by the President, Secretary and General Administrator of the Catholic Women Organization.

The Catholic Women Organization is a body of the National Council of Women Society(NCWS). The umbrella that oversees the women leadership in nigeria

According to the Catholic Women Organization (CWO), the purpose of this award is to recognize exceptional women who are rolemodel to women and girls like Hon Rita Orji not just for the church but the society in general.

“She has made significant difference and impactful strides on the lives of the downtrodden in Nigeria.

“Her advocacy for better lives for the women, widows and the Girl-Child is remarkable and unequal.”

In her remarks, Hon Rita Orji represented Ajeromi/ Ifelodun Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, expressed her gratitude to the organisation for the prestigious award and promised to continue to champion the vision of the Church by making life more meaningful to the women and less privileged.
