The 42nd Olubadan Of Ibadan land, Oba Senator Moshood Olalekan Balogun has stated that ligitation remains the beauty of democracy.
Oba Balogun made the disclosure on Tuesday while receiving newsmen in his Alarere Residence ahead of his 81st Birthday celebration.
The monarch said as long as democracy exists, litigation would continue as through this injustices are addressed.
While commenting on
viral “Oyo State stand-up order” video involving the former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo recently, noted that the former country’s leader is never a disrespecter of tradition as media claimed.
Oba Balogun maintained that is quite unfortunate as such comment came, believed Chief Obasanjo is a known personality who will forever lift and revere the traditional institutions.
The monarch while praying for better progress of the Ibadan land, Oyo State and Nigeria at large, predicted bigger Ibadan , adding that as long as the history exists, so also the capital of Oyo state exists.
Oba Moshood Balogun who studied overseas for his first, second and third degrees applauded the Almighty God for enabling him to attain wealth, health and successful monarchial reign since year 2021 of crowning.
