100 Days In Office: PDP Chieftain Oludamilola-ALA Congratulates Makinde, Ogundoyin on their recent achievements
A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Ibadan South East Local government, Hon Oludamilola Oluwole-ALA has congratulated the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde on the first 100 days in Office under Omituntun 2.0, which has begun with awarding of and completion of the ongoing laudable projects.
Hon Oludamilola-ALA in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, described Governor Seyi Makinde as the architect of the modern Oyo State, which has further given a facelift to the place of the state, as a key driver of the economy of the South West Region.
He said: “The systematic approach of Governor Seyi Makinde towards bringing the much needed development to every nook and cranny of the state, especially through infrastructural development will no doubt improve the living standard of the people. Take, for instance, every zone in the state has felt the positive impact of the Seyi Makinde government in one way or the other.
“Under Omituntun 1.0., Oyo, Ogbomoso, Oke Ogun 1 and 2, Ibadan Main and Less City and Ibarapa Zone have benefited largely from the incumbent administration through the provision of infrastructural facilities, road construction, provision of primary health care centres and free health programme with a greater improvement in Omituntun 2.0,” ALA said.
He commended the state government for the successful completion of the 34 kilometre-Oyo/Iseyin road and commissioning of some lofty projects at the Iseyin Campus of LAUTECH for the smooth take off of academic activities.
In a related development Hon Oludamilola-ALA who doubles as the founder of ALA Care foundation has joined other well meaning Nigerians to felicitate the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin on his election as the Chairman, Conference of Speakers in Nigeria.
The emergence of Hon. Ogundoyin as Chairman, Conference of Speakers in Nigeria, came barely three months Governor Seyi Makinde became the Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum. The two sensitive positions occupied by the two prominent sons of Oyo state is the first in the history of political system of the state.
Hon Oludamilola-ALA wished both Governor Makinde and Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin more wisdom to excel in their respective new positions by bringing the dividends of democracy closer to the people of Oyo state and Nigeria.
