ACOMORAN moves for lasting dialogue between union, NURTW
…..vows to stamp out all forms of lawlessness within union
The Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle Riders, Oyo State chapter have called for dialogue between the group and the leadership of the National Union of Road Transport workers to have their parks returned to the original owner.
The call was made by the state chairman of Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle riders, Comrade Olugbode Solomon during the Harmonization of it splinter groups and disassociating itself from the state PMS and NURTW.
Comrade Olugbode, however, reiterated that the Union will ensure it stamps out all forms of lawlessness, willful disobedience to traffic rules and other indisciplines are reduced on the road, noting that the union’s task force will be deployed in all the designated routes to ensure members compliance.
He further directed all members of the union to ensure they pay and collect both government revenue and Union tickets, noting that offenders who refused to pay will be handed to security agencies.
Comrade Olugbode however promised not to tolerate indecent dressing and alcoholic consumption by Motorcycle riders at their parks.
