Oyo: Ministry of Health, PHC’s To Emulate PTS O’health Platform Initiated By Dare Adeleke
The Chairman of Pacesetter Transport Service, Dare Adeleke, has launched the O’health platform to improve the health sector in Oyo State, in line with Governor Seyi Makinde’s efforts.
The platform will allow staff members to access healthcare and consultation services from anywhere in the world using their mobile phones.
Adeleke explained that he decided to extend the free healthcare service already available to his company’s staff to the O’health platform.
In his address, Oyo state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Bode Ladipo ably represented by Dr Gbolahan Abass commended the initiative and stated that the state’s Ministry of Health would replicate the model.
In his goodwill message, the Chairman, Primary Health Care Board, Hon Dada Awoleye while commending Hon Dare Adeleke on this noble feat declared that the O’health Platform will be adopted across the 351 Primary Health Care Centres being remodelled by the Seyi Makinde led administration.
The launch was chaired by the Executive Chairman of Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, who described the platform as critical and urged drivers to prioritize their health and to work hard.
