Olopoeyan Meets Gov. Makinde, Reconcile

The political rift between the Executive Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde and Southwest leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Adebisi AbdulRasheed popularly known as Olopoeniyan has reportedly been resolved.

This Newspaper recall that the governor, emerged victorious in his re-election bid last Saturday, was visited by the political stalwart and was captured in a laughing mood with the latter.

Recall that Olopoeniyan was formerly a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP before he had dispute with the governor which made himself and his party loyalists move to NNPP.

In the meantime, the visit is said to be a congratulatory one, which would also double as a pathway for reconciliation.
