2023 elections: Abayomi Fagbenro Bibire canvasses support for Makinde, Tegbe, Odidi-Omo and others

In a show of solidarity and support, Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire led hundreds of his followers to welcome the state governor to his local government Ibadan Southwest and ward (ward 12) on his second-term reelection campaign visit.

The atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation as Bibire and his supporters eagerly awaited the arrival of the governor’s convoy. The crowd had gathered in the early hours of the day, dressed in colourful attire and bearing placards with slogans praising the governor’s achievements in office.

Briefing newsmen before the Governor’s arrival, Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire praised the governor for his visionary leadership, which had transformed the state in numerous ways.

He enumerated the governor’s achievements in infrastructure development, healthcare, education, agriculture, and other critical sectors of the economy.

“Governor Seyi Makinde has done a lot for our state, and we are grateful for his selfless service,” Bibire said. “He has built roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, and many other facilities that have improved the lives of our people.

He has created jobs, attracted investments, and promoted peace and security in our communities. We are proud to associate with him and his administration.”

Hon.Abayomi Fagbenro said that the governor’s second term in office will consolidate on the gains of the first term and taking the state to greater heights.

“A vote for Seyi Makinde is a vote for him to complete ongoing projects, initiate new ones, and create more opportunities for the people”
Bibire said.

The governor used the occasion of his visit to Ibadan SW ward 12 to urge the people to participate actively in the electoral process, and to shun violence and other forms of misconduct. He emphasized the need for peaceful and transparent elections, and called on the security agencies to be vigilant and neutral.

The governor’s visit to Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire local government (IB SW) and ward (Ward 12) was part of his statewide campaign tour, which aimed at soliciting for votes and consolidating support for his second term bid.

The governor had visited several communities across the state, meeting with traditional rulers, opinion leaders, youth groups, women associations, and other stakeholders.

The governor’s reelection bid has received widespread support from various groups and individuals in the state, who have expressed confidence in his ability to deliver on his promises.
