APC Assures Adequate Security At Tinubu’s Presidential Rally In Ibadan

All Progressives Congress (APC) has assured members of the party and people of Oyo state a hitch-free rally for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the ancient Mapo Hall, Ibadan.

The Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and gubernatorial campaigns, Oyo state, Dr. Isiaka Kọ́láwọlé, who made the promise while briefing newsmen about the preparations for the grand rally scheduled to hold today, said adequate security to guarantee safety of the participants is already on ground and will be fully mobilised to ensure a rally devoid of any infraction.

Dr. Kọ́láwọlé who alleged Hoodlums according to him sponsored by Oyo state government, PDP and evil agents, represented and perpetuated protest that led to postponement of the rally from initial date, called on security agencies to stop the ongoing protest and clear all the blockage roads in the interest of the masses.

He also appealed to the people of the state to remain calm and peaceful adding that joining the evil process will not stop any harms but rather escalate the already pain situation and worsening the condition of the people.

The DG said the event holds a promise for mass attendance by members of the APC and members of the general public because of the popularity of the APC presidential candidate, whom he said has remained the most consistent, biggest contributor and the most visible democratic icon since the advent of democratic dispensation in 1999.

He also enjoined all participants that will be at the rally to be of good conduct and display a peaceful character.
