Mogbonjubola Sets To Depose Sadipe As Isokan Community In Oluyole Adopts PDP Candidate For Reps

Wild jubilation permeated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) political family yesterday as Isokan community; the largest in Oluyole federal constituency adopted and declared their support for the party’s House of Representatives candidate, Abdulmojeed Olawale Mogbonjubola.

They also vowed to deliver Oluyole 100 percent votes to Governor Seyi Makinde who is seeking a reelection for a second term of office as well as Oyo Central PDP Senatorial candidate, Chief Lukman Oyebisi Ilaka and other candidates on the platform of the ruling PDP.

The Publicity Secretary of PDP in Oyo state, Akeem Olatunji who stated that the success of any candidate in Oluyole at any election is largely influenced by the position of Isokan community made this known yesterday January 14 while speaking with journalists in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital shortly after the endorsement of Mogbonjubola.

Leaders of Isokan community who led the endorsement include Baale Idiroko Adewole, Alhaji Isiaka Adekunle, Baale Idioro Arowolaje, Alhaji moshudi Ajelabi Arowolaje, Baale Kasumu, Pastor Muheel Agbolagade, Baale Akobi Elemu, Alhaji Wasiu Oyelakin, Baale Ayegun Oleyo, and Alhaji Kabiru Olayemi Olajide.

According to Olatunji who described the development as game over for the opposition party candidate and incumbent, Honourable Akande Sadipe, Isokan community under ward 2 being the largest in Oluyole federal constituency has about 357 villages with densely populated eligible voters.

While expressing gratitude to the various community leaders, religious clerics and non political actors who are key opinion moulders in the area for their endorsement of the PDP candidate, Olatunji said their will be more grassroots based development in Oluyole when Mogbonjubola finally gets elected come February 25.

Maintaining that the development in Oluyole under Mogbonjubola as the House of Reps member would further complement efforts of the state government and the giant strides of Governor Makinde over the last three and half years, the PDP spokesman added that the federal constituency would be finally free from the shackles of deceitful representation of the incumbent member at the national assembly.

Olatunji said it was unfortunate that the success recorded by the current house of reps member representing Oluyole federal constituency was best described as a ‘social media success’ while challenging anyone with contrary evidence to come forward with proof of any physical or tangible development championed as part of the constituency projects under the present office holder.

In his words, “it’s very unfortunate that some of our so-called political elites are naturally born exploiters and political thieves otherwise, the lawmaker representing Oluyole federal constituency since 2019 till date would not galavant around in sheer political jamboree hoping to continue holding Oluyole down with deceitful success that only exists on social media.

“We are particularly grateful to Isokan community, the largest comprising about 357 villages with highly populated eligible voters coming out to endorse our party candidate, Honourable Abdulmojeed Olawale Mogbonjubola as our next representatives at the green chamber of the national assembly.

“This open show of support by our fathers and mothers in this community could not have been possible without the substantial evidence of good governance and purposeful leadership under the Seyi Makinde led government and they want same replicated at the federal constituency.

“Our fathers and mothers in their wisdom have seen the lies and deceits of the incumbent federal lawmaker representing us, they have seen how the lawmaker would continue to pump money into the media to sell false narrative of an illusion rather than real and tangible success because of the power and influence of the media.

“They have no heart nor conscience otherwise, they would not have against humanity and posterity, continued to exploit us and still brazenly tell their lies confidently in the media with funds meant for physical development as if we were a people bequeathed to them to perpetually enslave.

“We want to assure our people that after electing Hon. Mogbonjubola come February 25, Oluyole federal constituency will never again witness this sort of exploiters and political thieves who have continually converted our commonwealth from the national assembly to Oluyole into their personal purse.”

Others present at the event include the Director General of Chief Oyebisi Ilaka Campaign Council, Director-general of Mogbonjubola campaign council; Architect Salam Azeez, Oluyole PDP Chairman, Alh Mukaila Adegbola and party chieftains in Oluyole.
