Apata Inferno: Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire visits scene of incident
A philanthropist & Ibadan South West Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain , Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro popularly known as Bibire, has described as sad, pathetic, and devastating, the fire explosion caused by a diesel-laden tanker that fell and spilled its contents in Dogo, Apata area of Ibadan North West local government council, on Thursday 15th of December, 2022.
Fagbenro (Bibire) in a statement issued on Sunday sympathised with the people of Apata, particularly the victims of the fire explosion.
According to the statement signed by him, the incident which affected some residential buildings, kiosks & shops was shocking and devastating.
Thankfully to God, no life was lost in the said incident, but we identify with our people who lost properties and materials to this ugly incident as we will continue to pray to God for the safety of lives and properties of our people.
Bibire also commended the quick intervention of the state government, as the Deputy Governor had promptly visited the accident scene for an on-the-spot assessment while expressing his confidence that the government through her agencies will take necessary steps towards assuaging the pains of the victims.
