Makinde’s Loyalist, Fagbemi Hosts Odidiomo Campaign Team, Says Winning Team of 2019 Intact

.… Fagbemi is a Leader in All Ramifications – Odidiomo Campaign DG

The Executive chairman of Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA), Mogaji Akin Fagbemi has once again reiterated his support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and all candidates of the party in the 2023 general elections.

The PDP chieftain and a loyalist of Governor Seyi Makinde gave the assurance on Monday when he hosted the Director-general of Hon Adedeji Stanley Olajide popularly known as Odidiomo in his office at State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

Goal Poacher news quoted Fagbemi as stating that the PDP structure that gave overwhelming victory to all its senatorial candidate, four house of representatives members , the governorship candidate and House of Assembly candidates are still intact.

He added that he would do everything within his power through human and resources to ensure that Odidiomo is re-elected to represent Ibadan Northwest/Ibadan Southwest federal Constituency. He lauded the campaign DG, Hon Ayorinde Abiola for the courtesy visit. His words:

“Let me first appreciate the DG, he is my elder brother, my friend, he is one my allies.

“We remember when I contested for the primaries in 2018, he played a similar role, infact he was one of my reliable allies from Ibadan Southwest and for him to be the DG is to tell you how productive he is.

“I must also let you that, the primaries, I was the deputy director general for the campaign which also assisted our Reps, and Hon. Stanley Olajide Odidiomo was one of the four Reps that came in.

“So our support is not today, it has been before now and His Excellency, Engineer Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde is a party man, he is my leader and at every point in time we are always in touch, PDP to us is a must win to us .

‘So every candidate for PDP in the state will always get support.

‘We won our wards, local government, the federal constituency, the Senate even the governorship and the presidency.

“We are still doing the same, am happy to also let you know that Northwest is still intact from 2019 till date we are playing a very critical role.

“So the Director General coming now, he is not coming to come ask me go for support, he came to let me know how far we are going and what we are doing and how we are going to achieve more and that is why he is here.

“So for us in Northwest is a win situation, so Hon. Stanley Olajide Odidiomo is a brother and by God’s grace today God has positioned him for re-election and the party has chosen him and as my brother said, we are party men we will always support our party, the sky is wide for everybody to fly today am the chairman Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority and I Know the influence the position has given us the state through the instrumentality of the governor, Engineer Oluwaseyi Makinde.

“So the future is still bright, we are still young, then there will still come a day where he too would also support me when the opportunity comes.

“The DG is always here, he has always been with us, so there is no fraction at all, we have moved on, it is a solid house and I must tell you that we are in for a winning.

Earlier in his remarks, the Director-General, Odidiomo Campaign Organization, Hon Ayorinde Abiola commended Fagbemi who he described as a loyal, committed and dedicated party leader not just in Ibadan Northwest but across the state.

He added that the OYRTMA chairman has committed his personal resources to the growth of the party since he ventured into politics.

” Fagbemi is a stakeholder in this our business, whether you like it or not, he is one of the leaders of our party both local and the state.

“He has been working for the success of the party with whatever he has physically and financially.

“We are here to pay him a visit and to tell him what is going on in our federal constituency and the party as a whole.”
