General Chinade Laud University Of Ibadan For Maintaining High Standard Of Learning

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 2 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Aminu Chinade has extolled the management of the University of Ibadan for maintaining the high standard of learning the institution is known for over the years.
Major General Chinade gave this accolade when the team from the university’s Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies led by Professor Olawale Albert paid him a courtesy visit.
The GOC, an aluminus of the university and the institute said the Nigerian Army and indeed 2 Division are happy to be part of the success story of the university, noting that hundreds of officers, soldiers and their families have benefited greatly from the citadel of learning.
He assured of the Divisions assistance and also used the occasion to extend the goodwill of the Division to the Vice Chancellor and the university community, pointing out that the two institution will continue to remain partners in progress.
Earlier, Professor Olawale Albert said that they were in the Division to identify with the GOC as a board member of the institute and to also welcome him to the Division.
Professor Albert pointed out that he has worked in different capacities with the Nigerian military and also toured many countries, and that he feels proud and his faith rekindled in the country having discovered that there are excellent officers in the Nigerian Army.
He extends the greetings of the Vice Chancellor, management and the university community to the GOC, describing 2 Division as very significant to the institution.
