Nigeria @62: Ajimobi advocates Peaceful Elections, greater commitment in nation building.
The APC House of Assembly candidate for Ibadan South West Constituency II, Hon. Idris Abolaji Abiola-Ajimobi has called for peaceful elections and greater commitment of citizens especially the youth in the 2023 general elections.
In a goodwill message celebrating Nigeria’s 62nd Independence anniversary in Ibadan on Friday, Ajimobi saluted the efforts of the nation’s nationalists in actualising the Independence of the country. He also commended the heroes of Nigeria’s democracy who paved the way for the nation’s current dispensation. Ajimobi’s statement encouraged Nigeria’s youth to participate in the politics and governance process noting that the nation’s heroes past got involved as youths.
Idris Ajimobi congratulated Oyo State citizens and charged politicians and political parties to embrace peace in the coming election in other to move the state and country forward emphasising that 2023 is a decisive year for the future of our dear country.
He also appealled to the Independent National Electoral Commission to take concrete steps in ensuring the elections are free and fair with the outcome reflecting the will of the people.
