New Nigeria Peoples Party unveiles governorship candidate, deputy in Oyo state

New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) on Thursday officially unveiled, Engineer Popoola Joshua and Alhja Atinuke Adesope as it’s governorship and deputy governorship candidates respectively in Oyo state.

National daily news reports that the party governorship candidate while peaking at the event held at Liberty Stadium, Oke-Ado, Ibadan said people in the state are tired of PDP, adding that the party would rescued people from their current predicaments of oppression.

The party said its ready to restled power from governor Seyi Makinde’s People’s Democratic Party (PDP) led administration in the state.

The NNPP gubernatorial candidate said people in the state are tired of PDP, adding that the party would rescued people from their current predicaments of oppression.

National daily news further reports that Popoola promised security of lives and property, employment for the youths, stable economy and dividends of democracy if voted as the governor of the state.

The NNPP candidate however urged people of the state not to be decieved by money bag politicians, saying they should vote according to their concience.

“Oyo people want new government, God will use me for good things in Oyo State, we shall not be an in great as some people has does.”

“This is a critical time in our state, goverment and power must return to the people, it’s time the entire citizen of the state experience true democracy and goverment that works in their favor.”

“We are determined to restored our state to its right place as the pace setter, election is not just about us, it is more about future of our children and our dear state because our people deserve better.”
