Hijrah 1444: Aare Akogun muslumi felicitated with muslims on Hijrah

The Aare Akogun Muslumi of Oyo State, Alhaji Idris Ajimobi, has felicitated with Muslim Ummah on Friday as they joined the rest of the Islamic world in celebrating the commencement of the Islamic new year, 1444 AH.

Ajimobi in a statement signed by his media aide, Alade Lateef, said it was appropriate to use this occasion to thank the Almighty Allah for the privilege he mercifully granted us to witness the new year.

“This is a privilege for us as individuals and as a community of the faithful and deserves gratitude to Allah.

On the occasion of the Islamic new year and the commemoration of the Hijrah, I urged Muslim and other citizens to imbibe the lesson of compassion, peace and support for one another. I wish all the Muslim in Oyo State and Nigeria in general a blessed year.
