Omo Aj’orosun provides succour for hospitals, schools with vulnerable children in Ibadan

A Socio-cultural group, Omo A’jorosun in Collaboration with it Allied partner in Republic of Ireland have donated One hundred and five mattress, One hundred and four Pillows with two wheel chairs to Oyo state government and private hospital inorder to support government in providing affordable health care to the good people of the state.
The event which took place inside the premises of Omo A’jorosun house, Agodi gate, Ibadan.
While addressing Journalists, The Project Director, Omo Aj’orosun, Republic of Ireland, Mr Kazeem Raheem said that the help intervention was inspired to support government and help people of the immediate community in order to benefit from affordable primary health care.
He noted that “The initiative is a collective up and aspiration and ambition to help people of our immediate community where we always live before we sojourn to the foreign land, and we think out of the box and see how we can better the life of our brothers and sisters.
In his address, the president general Omo Aj’orosun, Chief Abiola Alli averred that Omo Aj’orosun as a club is noted to for helping the needies in Ibadan and across Oyo state, which also take it responsibility in assisting government in social responsibility.
He further promised to continue to extend the hands of help to the needies and across the state.
Chief Alli enjoined the beneficiaries of the items to involve maintenance culture inorder for the beneficiaries to get more gift item than what they are getting now.
He added that “Omo Aj’orosun is noted for helping the needies in Ibadanland and across the state and also take it responsibility to assist government of the day.
Chief Alli avouched that “helping the needies is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility functions of the club and we will continue to extend the hands of help to the needies.
“My advice to them is to maintain it very well, they should ensure that they maintain all the items very well because when you maintain it very well other people will be happy to donate more and more to you”.
In her remark, the secretary to Oyo state government, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun who is represented by Director of Maintenance Governor’s Office,
Mr Solomon Bamigbola appealed to all other Socio-cultural group and well meaning Nigerians in the state to Collaborate with the state government in delivering quality health care to the grassroot.
She further urged the beneficiaries to make use of the gift items handed over to them judiciously for the benefit of the people at the grassroot.
Mrs Olubamiwo said that “I urge the beneficiaries to make good use of the gift items handed over to them for the benefit of the people at the grassroot” She said.
