OYSIEC media Officer, Adegoke, bags MMPN outstanding member award
…as Ministry of Information emerges most outstanding branch

The information Officer attached to Oyo state Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), Adegoke Ibrahim, has been awarded the most outstanding Member of the Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN), Oyo State, Branch.
While presenting the award to the recipient at the 3rd Annual Conference and Handing Over held at the NTA, Ibadan Mosque, the State Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalist, Comrade Babalola Ademola, said the award was a recognition of good deeds and hard work.
In his remarks, the outgone Chairman of Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN), Oyo state, Branch, Alhaji Ridwan Fasasi, explained that the award was presented to Adegoke because of his good character, which include trustworthiness, oppenenss and transparency.
“He is an outstanding Information Officer who has distinguished himself among his counterparts.
“In the last OYSIEC Election, Mr.Adegoke interacted with journalists with the fair of God. All that were necessary entitlements of journalists were released as and when due,” He stated.
Similarly, the Ministry of Information emerged the most outstanding branch in the State, being the most active branch that is always participating in all activities of the state.
The event had in attendance Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalist, Oyo State Branch Comrade Ademola Babalola; S.A to Governor on Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Abdul Rasheed Adewale; members of the MMPN from all branches in the state and a host of orhers.
