Bibire felicitates Bayo Lawal over selection as Oyo dep gov for 2023

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain at Ibadan Southwest and Northwest federal constituency, Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro popularly known as ‘Bibire’ as congratulated Barrister Bayo Lawal on his confirmation as the running mate to governor Seyi makinde for 2023 general elections.

Governor makinde who Tuesday officially announced the current chairman oyo state Housing corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal as his running mate ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

He made announcement during a meeting with PDP stakeholders of the party from Oke-Ogun zone held at the presidential lodge, government house, agodi Ibadan.

Abayomi Fagbenro in a statement personally signed by him and made available to journalists, described Bayo Lawal’s nomination as a tactical move to sustain the party chances at the polls.

He said with the support of his Excellency, Engineer Seyi makinde giving to Barrister Bayo Lawal, he had giving facelift and remoulded Oyo state housing corporation from grounded level to a level of transformation.

Bibire added that Bayo Lawal had been part of the Oyo state political structure since the administration of late Lam Adesina when he was appointed Attorney General and commissioner for justice in 1999.

He added that Makinde’s giant strides in the first time have prepared him for the quantum leap in the second term.
