Bayelsa: Fish Out Killer of ‘Tompolo’ in PDP Primary Elections- Aspirant Urges Police

As Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) kicked off 2023 primary elections ahead to elect those who would be the party’s candidates from House of Assembly to Presidential elections, there were reported cases of agitation over the choice of candidates that emerged from few states.
Bayelsa State is among the state that witnessed violent primary elections on Sunday as one Michael Isaiah popularly called Tompolo was murdered in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa.
Hon. Daniel Iworison-Markson, an aspirant for Ogbia Federal Constituency strongly condemned the murder of Tompolo and appealed security operatives in the state to fish out the killer of Tompolo.
In a press statement made available to pressmen after the sad incident, Hon. Iworison-Msrkson lamented that no one’s life deserves to be cut short because of political ticket.
The former Commissioner for Information in the state said he was shocked and urged people to eschew politics of bitterness and violence that can lead to loss of life.
