A new dawn has come to Oyo the transportation sector in Oyo State considering The serious at which Governor Seyi Makinde has ensured that Oyo Park Management System (PMS) fits into the new normal. This part of the government effort to ensure that there is a drastic change in the way the handlers of the PMS conform with it operations in the state.
This was captured in the opening remarks of Oyo state Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko who reiterated that the government and other security agencies will join hands in ensuring that there is peace and tranquility in the operations ad activities of the PMS.
While reading the riot act on behalf of the Oyo state government to the Park Managers this Sunday at Oba Akinbiyi Model College, Oremji, Mokola, Ibadan, the Executive Chairman of Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) Ambassador (Mogaji) Akin Fagbemi alongside Otunba Seye Famojuro, emphasized that this standard operation procedure will not be compromised.
They advised the PMS members and other stakeholders to comply strictly with Oyo state government directives.
Other stakeholders at the event include; DSS, NSCDC, Commandant Operation Burst, Commissioner for Works and Transport, Professor Kehinde Sangodoyin, Executive Assistant on Security Matter, Sunday Odukoya clearly harped on for cooperation to enhance a peaceful operations, noting that Oyo State under Governor Seyi Makinde will not tolerate any act contrary to the state laws with regards to to criminal code, traffics rules and regulations and other laws relevant to PMS operations.
In his remarks, the Chairman Disciplinary Committee of PMS, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi popularly known as Auxiliary, thanked the state government and assured the security agencies that his members will conform with the standard operations and promised not to shield any of his members found violating rules and regulations.
