According to him, “Those against Senator Omisore in his bid to become the National Secretary are political jobbers working against the good will and conscience of the general citizens of the country. They are actually in need of political limelight but their political relevance has ended, because they never understood the progressive nature of the party.

“They have refused to appreciate the legendary escapades of Omisore in the history of Osun state and Nigeria, even in the face of several charges to destroy his personality, political journey and service to humanity. Providence has proven their accusations wrong, bias and unverified. It is time to focus on the growth and development APC as people’s centered party.

He said that many candidates, especially the national chairmanship aspirants, stepped down because of the respect they had for the progressive nature of the party and the unparallel leadership traits of the party leaders.

Akogun Ojo also congratulated the representatives of Lagos State in the NWC, Mr Dayo Israel, who was elected as APC National Youth Leader.
